Context

Flamengo's fan base does not stop at the border: the United States is home to a huge Brazilian community and a youth soccer market in full expansion.

Flamengo Soccer Camp was created to bring the club's official experience to that audience: days of intensive training with Flamengo's methodology, right in the middle of the American school vacations.

02

The challenge

Running an official camp in another country is a complete test of structure: international logistics, local fields and partners, communication in three languages and the brand standard that Brazil's biggest club demands, thousands of miles from Gávea.

03

Time Forte's role

Time Forte Marketing Esportivo conceives and operates Flamengo Soccer Camp together with the club: season structure, local operations in the US, registration and the participants' complete experience.

Former captain Diego Ribas is the project's ambassador, and Flamengo scouts follow the training sessions, with evaluations that bring the standouts closer to the club's red-and-black youth academy universe.

Results

The first edition, in July 2024 in Orlando, brought together more than 120 participants ages 6 to 17. It was followed by the winter edition, in January 2025, and the 2025 summer season, held while the first team was playing the Club World Cup in the US.

Across its first editions, the camp has already gathered more than 200 participants.

Next chapter

The project was designed to grow in the United States: new cities have already been mapped for the coming seasons and, in a second phase, the announced plan includes opening Flamengo academies in the country.
